Who Needs A Coach? Anyone Who Wants To Accomplish Great Things

If you’re wondering whether or not you should invest in a qualified strength coach, bodybuilding coach, or personal trainer, you must first determine how bad it is you want to accomplish your goals. If your goals are of significant importance, than hiring the right coach may prove to be one of the best investments you can make, as they can help you get from A to Z a hell of a lot more efficiently than you can on their own – after all, that’s their job.

Coaching, to make it to the top level of any sport or endeavor, is of paramount importance, and if you don’t believe that, take a moment to consider the fact that the absolute best athletes in the world have had coaching at all levels, and still do to this day. LeBron James has a coach, Sidney Crosby has a coach, Tom Brady has a coach, and the list goes on, and on. Even Michael Jordan didn’t have the success we all know him to have had without Phil Jackson first being in place as the coach.

For those saying, “well, that’s a different type of coaching,” you’re right, but framing it in that way misses the ball completely. The point is that coaching in their relative profession was not only beneficial, but necessary to accomplish the feats and accomplishments that they did. For those looking for something more related to the world of aesthetics, take current Mr. Olympia for example – Phil Heath himself, has, and has always had (at least since he turned pro) Hany Rambod as his coach. Hany’s even gone as far to suggest that Phil won’t even consider competing unless Hany is present with him, since his coach knows his body better than he does.

Whether you want to be a bodybuilder, fitness model, or just want to look better for your own personal reasons, and self-esteem, than hiring a coach can prove to be invaluable – but it has to be the right coach. Which begs the question, how does one go about picking a coach? How do you know who the right coach is? Well, you could look at many things: you could look at credentials – who has this coach trained, and what kind of success have his clients had? You could look at reputation – is this coach known in his circle as someone of higher value? You could look at the cost – is this coach, as much as he/she may be a right fit for me, within my budget?

The Benefits, And Value I Provide As Your Coach

Now I can’t speak for anyone else, but as a coach, my goal is to teach you everything you need to know to be successful in getting the result you seek to achieve, to motivate you to put forth the effort necessary, and to answer as many questions you’ll have along the way. What separates me from the rest is my attention to detail, and my ability to articulate complex information in a way that even the least well versed individual can understand (and I demonstrate this ability over, and over again, through the content listed throughout this site).

When it comes to biomechanics, my knowledge and ability to make you understand it is unparalleled. I can easily teach you how to position your body to get the most out of your efforts, so that your time and effort in the gym is maximized.

When it comes to progression models, my experience has proved time and again that I can take you from where you’re at, and pinpoint every single little detail that must be accounted for, to get you to where you want to go in the shortest amount of time, as long as you’re willing to put in the work.

But most importantly, when it comes to results, I deliver, and this is not by coincidence. Make no mistake about it, I’m extremely passionate about what I do, so much so that I won’t just take on anybody as a client. I take my job extremely seriously, and that means I take your results very seriously, and if I don’t believe that you’re fully committed, then we are not going to be a match. I have better things to do with my time than taking your money, and pretending I’m ok with your half-assed effort.

My mission in life is to build a legacy that will live long after my time on this Earth shall end, and I put forth time and effort every single day towards accomplishing that. I started this site with the goal of helping as many people as I could, as I saw the internet as my way of being able to reach out to more than just those in my presence, and thus far I’ve succeeded, but I still have a ways to go. Long story short, I have a lot of work planned for myself, and I’d rather use my time towards that than working with someone who isn’t serious about training.

As for the investment to hire me as your coach – at the time of this writing, I value myself between $90-110 per session, and this varies based on how much time it takes me to accommodate your training session (basically this is to account for travel time, as I’m willing to go the distance for those who are willing to put forth the effort required to accomplish their goals). Sessions are not based on time, meaning they are not set at 1 hour like most trainers would have it set at. Rather, there will be a scheduled amount of work for you to complete, and the duration of the workout will be based on your fitness level, as it will (obviously) be based on what you can, or can’t do, in the shape you’re currently in.

What You Won’t Get From Me

As a strength coach, bodybuilding coach, and personal trainer, my goal is summed up by the following: to increase your level of physical preparedness for sport, or competition. I will not make you a better athlete, I will improve your physical capacities, which will increase your capacity to perform at a higher level – playing your sport, with coaching from your respective coach in that sport will make you a better athlete. I will not make you a better bodybuilder, rather I will play a huge role in building your body, but your contest is won, or lost, on the stage. While I am all about preparation and preparedness, and firmly believe that competition of any kind is won, or lost, in the hours and hours spent leading up to the event, I am not the one on stage hitting your poses – you are.

Summary

What you’ll get from hiring me as your coach is:

I’ll provide all the answer you’ll ever need – if you’re ever unsure about something, I’m available 24/7 to answer your questions. Because I’m committed to your success, I make myself available around the clock to ensure you’re always of the right track. As a result, my time is limited and I’m not able to work with as many clients as I would like, but I’d rather do the best job possible for a few people, than fail to provide the absolute best service out there to a bunch of people.

I’ll explain things in a way that ensures you’ll understand exactly what to do, and exactly why you’re doing. In our time in the gym I’ll teach you how you need to do every single exercise you should be doing, so that you get the most out of your time and effort in the gym. I’ll show you how to modify exercises so that you’re targeting the exact musculature you desire, to get the result you want. I’ll also teach you how to modify the training parameters in such a way to ensure maximal progression.

Most importantly, I’ll get the most out of you in our time together, and that’s a guarantee. I’ve had numerous clients tell me that “without you, there’s no way I’d do this on my own,” and that’s not because they can’t do the exercises on their own, but rather because to get the results you want to get, it takes a lot of mental fortitude because it’s really friggin hard work – at least if you want to get the absolute best result given your time and effort. It’s so hard, that most people would rather quit than keep going, but with me, that’s not an option, and I’ve heard countless times “I didn’t think I could do that.” I know how hard one can push, and I know how far one can go, and I will not settle for less than getting the absolute most out of you. Yes, there will be days where adjustments will have to be made because sometimes life begins to weigh on you, and you simply don’t have as much gas in the tank, and I’m very aware of when to push on the gas, and when to step on the brakes.

Once again, because this comes up a lot, the investment on your part is $90-110 per session, NOT per hour. That’s not all I offer though – I don’t want anyone to shy away upon reading that thinking “that’s too much,” or “I can’t afford that, but he seems to be the best suited for me.” If one simply cannot afford to work with me one-on-one, I’m also available for online coaching, and will also provide a plan based on what exactly it is you want to accomplish. I am not a certified nutritionist, so I don’t sell meal plans per se, but I will answer questions and provide insight based on how much of each type of calorie you should be eating per day, and the changes that should be made over time as your body changes. If this is something of interest to you, feel free to message me directly at ben@paramounttraining.ca, and let me know exactly how you think I could help you best, and we’ll take it from there. My goal is to be able to help as many people as possible, as I’m so confident in my ability, that not sharing my wealth of knowledge with the world would be an injustice – and one that I certainly wouldn’t be able to live with.
