Magnesium - Essential Mineral Required To Optimize Health, And Performance
Magnesium is the 4th most
abundant mineral in the body and is involved in over 350 biomechanical
reactions, including the creation of ATP (energy), protein synthesis (the
conversion of protein you eat into muscle on your body), the action of heart,
proper formation of bones and teeth, relaxation of blood vessels, promotion of
proper bowel function, and regulation of blood sugar levels. On top of that,
magnesium also –
1. Is
alkalizing and will positively affect your pH levels which will aid in
prevention of cancer, assist in fat loss, and promote longevity
2. Improves
insulin sensitivity (more food you eat gets stored as muscle and less as fat),
insulin action, and insulin secretion
3. Improves
attention span and is used to correct attention deficit disorder
4. Reduces
inflammation and thus lowers the risk of congestive heart failure
5. Improves
memory
6. Increases
mineral content, which reduces osteoporosis
7. Improves
neural recovery, improves sleep, and is used in treating insomnia
8. Detoxifies
cortisol (elevated cortisol levels result in bodyfat being stored around the
belly button, and also promotes the usage of lean tissue as a source of energy,
thus slowing down the metabolism which further promotes storage of bodyfat)

Fish Oil - Quite Possibly The Best Supplement On The Market
In regards to the
desired results we all seek to achieve whether it be gaining muscle or reducing
bodyfat, or even getting stronger, training is just one important variable. But
if the body isn’t provided with the nutrients and phytonutrients that it needs
to function than progress with be subpar at best.
Obviously without
training the body would have no need to adapt, but if the goal is to get the
best return per investment of time, than it’s in your best interest to not only
train hard, but also provide your body with what it needs. One of those things
that it would benefit greatly from, is fish oil.

What Every Woman (and man) Needs To Know About Strength Training
Ask a woman what her
goals are in terms of body image and what she wants to get out of ‘working out’
and you’ll get an assortment of answers, which isn’t all that shocking as
everyone is different. But, ask ANY woman what she doesn’t want to happen as a result
of working out and every single time you will hear, “I don’t wanna get bulky”.
Hell, you’ll even hear those words coming from a lot of men as well as there
seems to be the perception that lifting weights automatically means you’re
going to look like a bodybuilder over night. But you know what? I don’t blame
them, because who would actually want to be bulky? Not me, that’s for sure!
Even the term is unappealing.
